Well I m back in my blizzard mode This one takes place on Mackinac Island A blizzard about to descend on the island and there s a serial killer who has possibly taken refuge there This is not the first book in the series and I should have read them in order since I would have had some context on what had previously traumatized one of the main characters but this was the only one in the series that had a blizzard in it so I went for it It was pretty fast paced and creepy enough that made it a perfect read with a glass of wine by the fireplace with a sleeping puppy on my lap

Wow I really enjoyed this book Elise and Mitch decide to have a little vacation but end up snowed in on Mackinac Island with a serial killer Having read Ms Bradford s other series this one is a little different and I finally put my finger on it You get to meet the victim know a little of their personality so you are a little invested their murder and trying to find the killer This mystery totally surprised me I knew I had it I was positive who it was it all added up boy was I wrong happily I liked the side story with Elise although I am not a fan of keeping secrets I still loved it and how it worked out in the end I loved the secondary characters also and hope to see a couple of them in future books I hope that there will be to this series it really does keep me guessing
